DRIVE-IN THEATRES

For many years, drive-in theatres have used a frequency on the commercial FM band to transmit the movie soundtrack to the car radios of spectators, and Decade transmitters are found in most of them all over North America, for unsurpassed sound quality, coverage, reliability and longevity.

Adjustable output power, to provide good coverage of the drive-in theatre site, without broadcasting too far outside the site;
Sound quality, RF performances, reliability and longevity superior to that of the competition;
Movie soundtrack can be listened to on the car radio or on a portable FM receiver;
Requires a transmitter for each screen, each one using a distinct FM frequency;
Multilingual applications are also possible with the appropriate technology, to allow spectators to choose between two or more languages for the same movie.

Indoor: coverage of 5000 feet of radius or more (with portable FM receivers), when the transmitter is not located in the area to cover, for example in an other room.
Outdoor: coverage of 3 km of radius or more with car radios.

BYPASS CONTAINMENT !

With our FM transmitters, it is possible to listen to the mass on your car radio, in the church parking lot.

Also, people who don't have a vaccination passport can attend masses or other events that they wouldn't normally be allowed to.

SLIGHT PRICE INCREASE

There will be a slight price increase, effective on February 1st 2022. Decade never increased any price since 1991, but with the large price increase for electronic components, wires, connectors, sheet metal, pc-boards, cardboard, solder, etc. in the last two years, we have no choice but to do the same.
